Baloobaz in Berlin!

We have safely returned from Berlin, after an excellent long weekend at the Karneval der Kulturen.

Our own show, on the Friday night was a great success, despite a few technical difficulties, and the feedback from the Brasilians and sambistas present was very positive.

A Long Weekend of Rehearsals

Last weekend, we welcomed Dudu Tucci back to Dublin to deliver a three-day workshop on the rhythms played in his Afoxe Loni project in Berlin.

Berlin Update

Just before Christmas, we received the news that Culture Ireland, the Irish governmental body which represents Irish culture abroad, had awarded us a grant of €5000 towards our trip to Berlin in May.

MaSamba added to bill for Karneval der Kulturen, Berlin

We have just received the news that MaSamba will have an opportunity to perform at the Latin stage in the Karneval der Kulturen, 2010 in Berlin!
