We hosted a dance rehearsal with some of our beautiful Latin dancers last Sunday, primarily to work out a choreography ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ pageant.

We had a great meeting with Jennie Place-Ryan of the Sphere 17 Regional Youth Service at the end of last week where we hammered out the details of getting some people from the project involved in our ‘Boys Are Back In Town’ pageant.

Yesterday and today, we have been inundated with box after box of costumes arriving from Sao Paulo!
We actually haven’t had time to unpack them yet, as we are very busy with workshops this week, but the one box we did crack open contains the costumes for the Phil Lynott character, and the principal female dancer – they look amazing, even sitting on the table!

As part of our ongoing preparations for our Phil Lynott pageant, we have put the project up on the innovative www.fundit.ie website.
Fund it operates on the crowdfunding principle, where projects are funded by individuals in return for rewards. Donations can be as small as €5, and go right up to €500, which includes the chance to be in the pegeant on the big day!

We learned today, that most of the costumes for our next big pageant ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ are ready, and being packed into numerous boxes for shipping.
We are delighted with the initial photos we have seen, and can’t wait to open up these boxes when they arrive, and marvel at the expert work of our Sao Paulo costume team.
