Apologies for the lack of posts lately, but there has been lots of work going on behind the scenes, and lots of news to report!
Work is still going ahead on our trip toChicago next month. This amazing opportunity is being funded by Culture Ireland and the Chicago Brazilian Music Festival, and GoHop.ie have been very helpful in helping us to organise the cheapest travel options too, so they deserve a mention!
Tomorrow, we are on the road early to play at Ladies’ Day for the Listowel Races – this is a ‘first’ for us, and we are looking forward to it – it looks like a great event!
on Saturday, we are playing for the Aware Daisy Days campaign, which is designed to raise awareness and funding for Aware, a charity which works to increase understanding and support for people with depression. It’s a great charity, and if you are around the Grafton Street area between 11am – 1pm on Saturday, come along, dance to the samba and donate a few bob!
On Sunday, we are playing at Croke Park as part of the warm-up for the All-Ireland final. Given that it is a Dublin/Kerry final, the atmosphere should be amazing, and we hope to add a little bit to the magic!
