After another busy week of workshop with a variety of groups, our sight are set on a big event in Athlone on Sunday.
This is a parade to celebrate the opening of the Euro Festival, which is a pretty major gathering of delegations from 15 European countries to celebrate their different but complementary cultures.
MaSamba’s drummers and dancers will join the cream of Irish street bands and street theatre in an opening ceremony, featuring all the national delegations. If the weather holds, it should be a great event!
