Most of us were complaining about having to get up this morning to be on the bus for 10am to leave for Bangor.
However, Jenni came straight to rehearsals from a flight from Boston, traveled to Bangor, played the gig, and lasted the journey home, before the jet lag really kicked in – just as well she has another week’s holidays ahead of her to recover!
It was great to be in Bangor again, with our friends from the Beat Carnival, and despite fighting through torrential showers most of the way up, and home, it stayed dry for entire parade, which was a bit of a miracle.
Next up is our show in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Thursday evening – should be a blast!
